  1. Carl says:

First thing, thanks for choosing such a cool book about such a great talent. I think the thing I liked best about Hope were the Road movies with Bing Crosby. Those were so much fun to watch when I was a kid. Thanks again.

  2. Victoria Rendon says:

The thing I love most about Bob Hope is how he broke the fourth wall and talked to the audience directly.

  3. Kate I. says:

What I love most about Bob Hope would be the indelible contributions he made to the USO over the course of 50 years (a half century!). His support of the men and women serving in the armed forces was unparalleled. My father and both grandfathers were career military men. Mr. Hope was always welcome on our family televisions. “Thanks for the memory!”

  4. Joan O'Malley says:

He was such a versatile entertainer. Comic, actor, singer, dancer, emcee and he loved our troops. He and Crosby together was a great pairing.

  5. His warmth. I felt as if he had been a long time relative with whom I could pick up my relationship at anytime. And he was always happy to see you, and share a couple of “inside” jokes.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

  6. bill norris says:

His love and affection for the troops……

  7. EvilLordVaden says:

    His optimism.
