Facts about

This is one of 4 Three Stooges shorts that ended up falling into the public domain, the other 3 being Brideless Groom, Sing a Song of Six Pants, and Disorder in the Court. Because of that, these four shorts frequently appear on very cheaply processed video and DVD compilations.
Larry Fine's autobiography contains a photograph of Curly Howard as a chef in a deleted scene from this film. Curly had suffered a stroke a few years earlier and had left the act. He had clearly lost weight, and his face was disguised with a huge handlebar mustache.
