Facts about

Lou Costello was 'Dolores Del Rio''s stunt double in the window scene.
Four stuntmen were killed while filming the Cooper River rapids scenes. Of the four, two bodies were never found. This is according to the documentary, "Hazards of the Game", and verified by two stunt men from the scene, one being Paul Malvern.
