Facts about

Leonard Mudie plays a horror actor called Horace Karlos. Ironically, when Boris Karloff was at Monogram doing his Mr. Wong series, he used a plot device similar to the method of murder utilized here.
Mantan Moreland and real-life nightclub partner Ben Carter (playing himself) recreate two of their nightclub routines.
At one point at the TV station, Sidney Toler appears to have actually gotten shocked, albeit accidentally, by a cyclometer, ad-libbing " . . . also keep finger out of same" in response.
