The Clairvoyant Overview:

The Clairvoyant (1935) was a Drama - Thriller/Suspense Film directed by Maurice Elvey and produced by Michael Balcon.

SYNOPSIS

A fraudulent psychic (Rains at his creepiest) begins to have terrifying, authentic flashes into the future. The visions, which all seem to herald impending disasters, catch up with him and he is jailed for causing one accident that he predicted. He is saved only by his ability to tell more information about the survival of some of the victims. Same plot was used with Edward G. Robinson in The Night Has a Thousand Eyes in 1948.
