Facts about

This movie was a follow-up to Rock Around the Clock and shares many of the same sets and cast.
According to an article in the September 16, 1957 issue of Billboard Magazine, producer Sam Katzman intended to follow this film with a third film featuring Bill Haley and Alan Freed, with production intended to begin in 1958. It was ultimately not produced.
As with Rock Around the Clock, all songs are performed lip-synched to previously released records. It's worth noting, however, that Bill Haley and the Comets' instrumental "Goofin' Around" seen performed here is a different take than the version the band released on record.
