All I Desire Overview:

All I Desire (1953) was a Drama - Romance Film directed by Douglas Sirk and produced by Ross Hunter.

SYNOPSIS

Ten years after an illicit love affair forced a woman to abandon her husband and family, she returns to the small town hoping for a reconciliation. But neither the town nor her children are ready to forgive. A great performance by Stanwyck in trademark Sirk material survives a happy ending tacked on by the studio over Sirk's objections.
