MINI BIO:

Pretty Yvonne Middleton from Vancouver, Canada, labored hard for three years as decoration on the fringe of Hollywood exotica and college comedies. But when they dressed her up in yashmak and bangles, and called her Yvonne de Carlo, she became a star. She put plenty of fire into a colorful series of easterns and westerns from 1945 to 1960 and even revealed a more delicate shade of beauty in the occasional quieter role.

She was honored with two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the categories of Motion Pictures and Television. De Carlo was never nominated for an Academy Award.
