MINI BIO:
Blonde American actress who brought warmth, vitality, and emotional appeal to French films of the early sixties after a shaky start in her own country in Saint Joan. Later films never trained her abilities along the right lines and, although she continued to look better in French films than those of Hollywood, her film career had ground to a halt some years before she committed suicide with barbiturates.
