Wilson Benge Facts
Along with Charles Coleman and Robert Greig, Hollywood's most familiar butler in the 1930s and the 1940s.

His last film appearance in The Scarlet Coat (1955), he played, naturally, a servant.

In addition to his trademark butler/valet roles, the venerable, balding character actor played a number of other servile parts -- ushers, waiters, footmen. He also played other benevolent types such as clergyman, monks and professors.
