MINI BIO:
(Source: available at Amazon Quinlan's Illustrated Dictionary of Film Character Actors).Robert Emhardt was a versatile, thick-cheeked American actor whose sheer bulk and presence joined forces to grab the attention in his every scene (1952, The Iron Mistress; 1957, 3:10 To Yuma; 1961, The Stranger). Hollywood made too little use of this one-time understudy to Sydney Greenstreet, especially in view of the fact that he could project villainy, kindliness or just plain eccentricity with equal perception.
