MINI BIO:
Plumpish, mustachioed Leo Carrillo was a former vaudeville comedian of Spanish American background who gradually became a familiar face in Hollywood films playing fractured-English character roles. He was a more benevolent version of Akim Tamiroff, and like Tamiroff, he could also give strong performances in minor leading assignments. Latterly, he played Pancho in The Cisco Kid film and television series.
