Rosemary De Camp was an American actress with warm smile and heart-shaped face whose sympathetic voice matched her screen personality and made her a popular actress on the radio before she came to Hollywood in 1941. Almost from the very start of her screen career, she appeared in mother roles, having teenage daughters, while still in her late twenties and early thirties. Television roles from the 1950's to the 1970's stretched her career as a screen mother over 30 years.
