MINO BIO:

Monocled, long-nosed and weak-chinned, Claud Allister had large eyes and an asinine smile that showed off his big teeth. His upper-class voice was well in keeping with the 'silly ass' nature of the characters he played, and he remained in demand on both sides of the Atlantic until his retirement in 1955. A former clerk who swapped the Stock Exchange for the stage, he went on to make a splendidly well-cast Algy in several Bulldog Drummond films.
