Famed 'movie star' locomotive, Sierra No. 3, brought High Noon villain Frank Miller (Ian MacDonald) into Hadleyville after his release from prison. Sierra No. 3 is housed at the Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown, CA.

Since 1919, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park has been a popular site for motion picture and television location filming, 'starring' in more than 200 films, television programs and commercials. Its most famous locomotive, the Sierra No. 3, appeared in numerous classic films and TV shows -- including High Noon (1952), The Virginian (1929), The Cimarron Kid (1952), Rawhide (TV series), Apache (1954), The Great Race (1966), Pale Rider (1985), Little House on the Prairie (TV series), Bonanza (TV series) and Death Valley Days (TV series). Most famously, the Sierra No. 3 served as Hooterville's Cannonball on TV's Petticoat Junction.
