SYNOPSIS
An extremely sympathetic portrait of the legendary "Babe," which follows him from his troubled childhood to his last heroic day. Bendix portrays the fictional Bambino, re-creating the most memorable highlights of his life, intermingled with actual clips of Ruth in action, adding a documentary feel to the picture.
