Sydney Bromley Overview:
Character actor, Sydney Bromley, was born on Jul 24, 1909 in London, England. Bromley died at the age of 78 on Aug 14, 1987 in Worthing, Sussex .
MINI BIO:
Wiry, gimlet-eyed, quick-moving, ginger-bearded British actor, mostly in very minor film roles (after beginning as over-age schoolboys in Will Hay comedies) as toothless hayseeds or rural sages. In the theatre, however, Bromley built up a very different reputation, as a formidable interpreter of eccentric Shakespearian roles. Always highly distinctive.
