Roger C. Carmel Facts
Rotund, handlebar mustachioed comedian/character actor, a familiar face on TV for almost three decades until his death. Best known as interstellar villain "Harcourt Fenton Mudd" on the original "Star Trek" (1966), "Roger Buell" on the short-lived (1967-69) but well-remembered series "The Mothers-In-Law" (1967), and "Colonel Gumm," a guest villain on "Batman" (1966).

Besides the regulars and those who played Enterprise crew members, he is one of only two actor to play the same character in more than one episode of the original "Star Trek" (1966) series.

Was a good friend of "Star Trek" actor George Takei.
