Quentin Dean appeared in 11 film and TV roles from 1967 to 1969 but is probably best known for her feature film debut as Delores, the 16-year-old temptress, in Norman Jewison's In the Heat of the Night. Dean was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for that role; the award however went to Carol Channing for her role as Muzzy Van Hossmere in Thoroughly Modern Millie.
