Had a small part in "The Cure" episode of the TV series "Planet of the Apes," but said role was cut from the final finished version that was broadcast on television.

Almost died after contracting pernicious anemia in 1963. Fortunately Roth managed to pull through, but lost a lot of weight in the process and acquired a gaunter look as a direct result of this.
