Franco Columbu Facts
Appeared on the sleeve of Grand Funk Railroad's 1974 album "All the Girls in the World Beware!!!" with fellow-bodybuilders Arnold Schwarzenegger and Frank Zane. Band member faces were cleverly superimposed on their muscle-bound bodies.
During the first ever "worlds strongest man" competition, he dislocated his knee during the refrigerator carring race. The scene was not edited for CBS and was shown and even instant replayed. During an interview immediately following the race (while lying on a stretcher) he claimed that they told him it was broken but he said being a chiropractor he knew it was just dislocated.
Arnold Schwarzenegger training Partner.
