Recreated her 1954 Broadway role for film as gabby Monica Breedlove, the landlady, in the cult classic The Bad Seed (1956). Also on Broadway played Mrs. Gibbs in "Our Town" (1938) and the Nurse to Olivia de Havilland's Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet" (1951).
