Wrote a 1983 memoir, called "Has Corinne Been a Good Girl?" in which she said Hollywood studios put her in roles that never tapped her acting ability.

In 1967 her longtime boyfriend, Donald Scott, sued Calvet to recover assets that he had placed under her name to hide them from his wife in a divorce battle.

Appeared in French radio and stage productions after WWII.
