Never Say Die (1939) was a Comedy - Romance Film directed by Elliott Nugent and produced by Paul Jones.

SYNOPSIS

A confusion of his test results with those of a dog convinces neurotic rich man Hope that he is about to die. He falls in love with Texas oil heiress Raye, who loves poor Devine. Hope comes up with a simple plan that will make everyone happy: marry Raye, die, and leave her all his money and the freedom to follow her heart with Devine. They marry and honeymoon, with Devine along for the ride. Just when the plan seems to be falling into place, Hope realizes the mistake.
