Facts about

This was the first Harold Lloyd film to take advantage of the location of the main studio. It was situated on a hill which was over the Hill Street tunnel that included a terrace at the top of the tunnel opening which overlooked Hill Street and the surrounding cityscape. Hal Roach discovered that as long as the railing facing the street was kept out of the frame, it appeared that anything shot on the terrace was up on a dizzying height above the city. Thus Hal Roach and Harold Lloyd were able to use this illusion to stage scenes and stunts that appeared to have the characters up at great heights in the city, when actually the actors were on relatively low structures that were a few metres at most above the terrace floor.
