Close to My Heart (1951) was a Drama - Black-and-white Film directed by William Keighley .
SYNOPSIS
Milland and Tierney play a sweet young couple interested in adopting a foundling that has been turned over to police headquarters. As the adoption proceeds, Tierney becomes more bonded to the baby. Milland seeks the identity and background of the child, and the adoption agency begins to question his stability. After he discovers that the baby's father is a murderer with a date on death row he makes one final plea to the agency.
