Broken Lullaby Overview:

Broken Lullaby (1932) was a Drama - Black-and-white Film directed by Ernst Lubitsch and produced by Ernst Lubitsch.

SYNOPSIS

During WWI, a French soldier shoots a German, learning his name as he sees the dying man scribble a note to his fiancee. After the armistice, the French veteran visits the dead man's family. He endears himself to them first by putting flowers on the soldier's grave, but doesn't reveal his connection to their dead son. Soon, he and the fiancee of the dead German fall in love.
