Daisy's beach house (which is blown up in the final scene) originally belonged to silent star Barbara La Marr.
Most of Natalie Wood's singing voice was dubbed by vocalist Jackie Ward. However, Wood herself sings the intro to "You're Gonna Hear From Me" for the screen test version of the tune.
This is an interesting movie for film buffs since many scenes feature shots in various areas and departments of Warner Bros. Studios, in Burbank, California. The actual studio appeared as the mythical "Swann Studios" in the film.
