In the 1967 "Doctor Who" (1963) episode "Tomb of the Cybermen" Sheybal was to have played the role of Klieg, but George Pastell ultimately got the part.
Was chosen by director Terence Young, for his part as Kronsteen in the James Bond film From Russia with Love (1963), because of his special voice.
Was friends with Sean Connery, who convinced him to take the part of Kroonsteen in From Russia with Love (1963), Sheybal's first international film. The part brought him to the attention of other producers and launched his long career of playing villains in international productions.
