Her pseudonym, Susann Korda, was created by director Jesus Franco from the name of an earlier German film actress, Susanne Korda.
She has a son (Antonio) with José Manuel Simões.

Soledad's artistic last name, Miranda, was drawn out of a hat. Soledad chose her artistic surname by surprise: she put several surnames on different papers, placed them in a hat, and the "innocent hand" drew that of Miranda.
