She was travelling on board an Iberia Airlines Caravelle (Iberia 062), on a flight from Malaga to London Heathrow Airport, when it crashed into the southern slopes of Blackdown Hill, West Sussex, England, at about 10.02p.m. on 4th November 1967. All 37 people on board the aeroplane were killed. At the time of the crash she was five months pregnant. A memorial to ninteen of the dead was ereced in Brookwood Cemetery, Surrey, England.
