Handsome son of a Filipino family, was an accomplished dancer and choreographer. He is well remembered as the scorned and vengeful suitor Chino from the 1961 film adaptation of "West Side Story", as well as Tatu, the Indian youth in Bonanza, "To Kill a Buffalo" (1966) and Ernie Gordon, friend of Chad Gates (Elvis Presly) in "Blue Hawaii" (1961). Also featured in dozens of other mystery, suspense, and comedy television series episodes.
