After "McMillan & Wife" (1971)'s fifth season, his contract expired and he thought the show would be canceled, so he accepted an offer from producer Leonard Stern to take the lead in Stern's "Holmes and Yo-Yo" (1976) series. When "McMillan & Wife" (1971) returned in a scaled-down version as "McMillan" (also produced by Stern), Schuck's character returned to that show as well, appearing briefly in each episode (it was explained that the character, Sgt. Charles Enright, had received a promotion and a transfer away from the Commissioner's office, but still dropped in on his old boss).
For the touring play "Annie", he is using the name Conrad John Schuck.
Former cousin of movie director/producer Michael Bay.
He has two step-sons.
He is the first actor ever to use the f-word in a major motion picture (MASH (1970)).
Is one of only 32 actors or actresses to have starred in both the original Star Trek (up to and including Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991)) and then in one of the spin-offs.
Older brother of Peter Schuck.
