Although separated for years, she died 29 days after husband Tex McCrary, remaining friends to the end.

Among the events she covered as a solo reporter were Grace Kelly's wedding in Monaco and the Nixon tour to South America.

Became America's No.1 model

Co-starred in a radio breakfast show "Tex and Jinx" with long time husband John Reagan "Tex" McCrary, which eventually moved to TV in the late 40s.

Her son, Kevin was featured on "Hoarders" in November, 2011.



Married to Tex McCrary with whom she co-hosted several television shows & specials including "Preview" in 1949 & "The Tex & Jinx Show" (aka "Closeup") in 1957-1958.

Passed away at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York which she and her husband, Tex McCrary, founded along with Mr. and Mrs. John Hay Whitney.

Raised in Chile

She is the sister of the 1948 Wimbledon Tennis Champion Bob Falkenburg.

Two sons with Tex McCrary: John Reagan McCrary III and Kevin Jock McCrary.

Was chosen the first "Miss Rheingold" in 1941, to advertise Rheingold beer.
