She and Eric Peterson, who play Brent Butt's parents in "Corner Gas", have been friends for 35 years. They are both proud Saskatchewan natives.
She is a co-funder of Persephone Theatre productions along with her late sister Susan Wright.
Was in the film Boondock Saints, The (1999), as Connor (Sean Patrick Flannery) and Murphy's (Norman Reedus) mother who calls them from Ireland (jokingly) threatening to kill herself. But the scene was cut from the final film, it can be seen in the deleted scene section of the DVD however.
