Attractive leading lady of B-movies in the 1930's and 40's. She started off as a Goldwyn Girl, before joining Columbia under contract. Until late 1940, she appeared in many western and mystery potboilers, as well as several serials. Between 1942 and 1943, she acted in considerably lesser quality films for PRC (one of the 'Poverty Row' studios). Retired after marrying director Abby Berlin. She was in later years afflicted by cancer, which severely disfigured her face and eventually claimed her life.
