Father of actress Helen Westcott.
He died after sustaining injuries to the base of the skull when his horse fell on him while playing polo. After three days in an oxygen tent at Cedars of Lebanon (now Cedars-Sinai) Hospital in Los Angeles, Wescott died on Halloween, 1935.
