Dorothy Coburn

The daughter of actor/producer Wallace Coburn who appeared in silent comedy for Hal Roach, notably in films with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Her best-known appearances include The Second 100 Years (1927) (with Laurel in a famous scene covering her bottom with white paint) and Putting Pants on Philip (1927) (being chased by an overly-amorous, kilt-wearing Laurel around town). An accomplished rider, she also occasionally worked as a stunt performer in westerns.
