Daughter from first marriage named Dayle.

In the late 1950s, traveled throughout Southern California giving speeches to civic and church groups on "the menace of communism." Was the founder and early president of the San Marino (California) Tuesday Morning Study Club which presented annual patriotism awards to noted Americans.

She worked a stand-in for Claudette Colbert, Veronica Lake, Madeleine Carroll and Joyce Mathews.

Was the 1938 Pasadena (California) Rose Queen for the Tournament of Roses Rose Bowl parade.
