Lewis spent thirty-five years in show business, starting as a singer with Kay Kyser and 'Herbie Kay'. A student of the Pasadena Playhouse, Lewis was put under contract to Metro.
Played Jane Stacy in both radio and television series' "My Friend Irma" (1952); played Molly in the television series "Fibber McGee and Molly" (1959). Played in numerous episodes of radio's "Suspense" - often playing more than one part - and alongside husband Elliott Lewis. At times, described along with Elliott as one of radio's most distinguished couples.
Portrayed Jane Stacy on CBS Radio's "My Friend Irma" (1947-1954).
