He has three daughters and two sons: Robert, Kristin, Christopher, Jennifer (who later changed her name to Hannah) and Rebecca.

He was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6916 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

His mother Dorothy also sings and dances in his act.

His song "There I've Said It Again" was the last song to hit #1 in the US before the "British Invasion".

Kept his marriage to wife Dolly a secret for years. The record companies thought he would sell better if he was single. This is why, even to this very day, he has never worn his wedding ring.

Shares his hometown of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, with fellow singers Perry Como and Joey Powers.

Went by his first name of Stanley until age 16, when he followed in his father's footsteps and joined his first band. He decided to use Bobby so he wouldn't be confused with his father.
