Served as one of several celebrity witnesses to testify at the trial of the Chicago Eight, featuring defendants Abbie Hoffman, David Dellinger, Jerry Rubin, Tom Hayden, Bobby Seale, Rennie Davis, John Froines, and Lee Weiner (1969-70).
