Annie Ross

Came from a Scottish showbusiness family and was the sister of the late, legendary Scottish entertainer, James Logan.

Her 1963 album, 'Annie Ross Sings A Handful of Songs', was produced by film music composer John Barry. The same year she sang 'Time Waits For No Man', Barry's theme song for the controversial film, The Party's Over (1965).

Her pop-star nephew, Domenick Allen, was married for a period to Charlene Tilton, star of "Dallas" (1978).

Miss Ross' sultry tones have been used in films to dub over actress' whose voices are not appropriate for their roles e.g. Britt Ekland in The Wicker Man (1973)

Niece of the late Scottish-born singer and Broadway star Ella Logan.



Once shared a London flat with Georgia Brown in the early 1950s.

She was a child actress. She sang the song "Loch Lomond" on the Our Gang/Little Rascals short Our Gang Follies of 1938 (1937). She was later reunited with fellow Our Gang actor Jackie Cooper in Superman III (1983).

Was member of revolutionary vocal jazz group Lambert, Hendricks & Ross.
