He and Ilia Volok have both played Russian antagonists for Harrison Ford in two movies. In Air Force One (1997), Volokh and Divoff both played Russian terrorists who tried to kill Ford's character of "The President of the U.S.". In Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), they both played Russians who also attacked Ford's character of "Indiana Jones".
Likes to hike and go skiing when he's not working on set.
Lived in the Catalan coast town of Vilassar de Mar from 1973 to 1977, where he learnt to speak Catalan. He worked as a tourist guide in the Costa Brava.
