In July 2002, she was a guest at the Western Film Fair in Charlotte, North Carolina along with Donna Douglas, Edd Byrnes, Alex Cord, Jean Porter, Johnny Duncan and Kevin Greaves.
In the mid 70s Peggy was honored at the annual Western Film Festival.
She had two children by second husband Buck Young - a daughter, Abigail Young, and a son, Grey Young, who appeared with both his mother and father (as their son) in the 1972 movie Pickup on 101 (1972).
