Brother of actors Lawrence Tierney and Scott Brady.
Ed became a building contractor after quitting as an actor, and brother Scott Brady financed several of his projects. One of these includes the apartment building where the infamous Wonderland murders took place.
Had a minor career in German films where he went by the name Edward Tracy.
In later years, Edward gained weight and suffered from diabetes. He died in 1983 after suffering a diabetic shock.
Was married twice (once in Germany) and has two sons: Steve and Mike.
