Animators were told to remove the buttons on the pockets of Jessica's Park Ranger uniform in her close-up when she leans into the camera because they were too anatomically suggestive. (They appear in the longs shots).
As Roger and Baby Herman ride past the camera at the beginning of the flume ride, Baby Herman's eyes have Mickey Mouse heads for a few frames; then as Roger rides past, his eyes have skulls for the same amount of time.
As Roger runs along the top of the logs, there is a whip-pan shot where the camera passes by a poster for 'Rigid Tools' with a woman seductively straddling a saw, styled in cheescake 1940s fashion. This poster became the bane of Disney for several years and resulted in the laserdisc version of this short getting recalled and re-issued minus the now digitally-erased poster. Many VHS editions of the short still contain the full version, though it is actually only viewable on screen for about 4 frames.
As Roger spits the bees out of his mouth, they have various Disney character heads like Mickey Mouse, Genie from Aladdin, Evinrude from The Rescuers, and Tinker Bell from Peter Pan.
At one point the log Roger and Baby Herman are riding has a bumper sticker that reads "We Visited Splash Mountain".
This animated short can be found on the Who Framed Roger Rabbit Vista Series DVD, released in 2003.
Was released theatrically with A Far Off Place.
When Roger fumigates his campsite, the bug spray he uses is labeled "Mink-Off" - a reference to producer Rob Minkoff.
