"The Screen Guild Theater" broadcast a 30 minute radio adaptation of the movie on February 17, 1949 with Dana Andrews, Jean Peters and Dean Stockwell reprising their film roles.
While filming, Jean Peters was met by a fan several times, who did several marriage proposals. Peters turned him down every time, but the man didn't quit proposing until she informed him marrying him would mean taking care of her family.
