The late actress Susan Strasberg, a fellow breast cancer victim but who died of the disease in 1999, married at one time actor Christopher Jones and named her daughter Jennifer Robin Jones in the actress's honor.

Turned 25 years old on the day that she won the Oscar for The Song of Bernadette (1943).
