Paul Fix Overview:

Character actor, Paul Fix, was born Peter Paul Fix on Mar 13, 1901 in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Fix died at the age of 82 on Oct 14, 1983 in Los Angeles, CA .

MINI BIO:

American actor with light brown hair. He only fenced with films until the 1930s when he became a Hollywood fixture, one of many players whose faces were more familiar than their names, at first often in unsympathetic roles such as cowardly crooks. Later Fix film characters pursued a policy of non-aggression and a succession of sheriffs, taxi-drivers, judges, seamen, ranchers, and priests established him well on the right side of the law. His mild-mannered, dry-humored approach made him something of a lesser Barry Fitzgerald.
